Happy Birthday!

Anya turned 4 years old on the 16th of March. She seemed to really grasp the concept that it was her birthday. She was bouncing of the walls. She is now getting into princesses. All she wanted was a Cinderella Dress. Cinderella is her favorite princess. I thought for sure she would want to make a Princess Cake but she decided to have a Butterfly Cake with purple frosting. It had to be purple or yellow, those are her favorite colors.

Since she had a birthday also meant it was time for her annual cardiologist appointment. She was such a good patient. She had to lay down on a table for an hour while they did an eco- cardio of her heart. It was pretty fascinating to see. The doctor showed me the small whole in her heart and what exactly is going on. Her condition is basically the same since birth. No better but no worse. We are considering that a blessing. When she was ready to leave the hospital they gave her all of this stuff. She got the blanket they used during her appointment, a Baby Bambi and a Dora the Explorer Book. She thought all that was pretty cool and said she would go back again.
